Common questions about pricing
Can I pay monthly or do you require everything up front?
The Diagnostic sprint is invoiced 50% before we start and 50% on delivery of the report. Monthly retainers (Growth and Full transformation) are invoiced on the first working day of each month, payable within 14 days by bank transfer.
What if I only need help with one specific problem?
We offer ad-hoc consulting at £175 per hour (minimum half-day booking). This works well for businesses that need a second opinion on a specific decision, such as whether to open a second location or how to restructure a department. Ring us on +44 141 858 6321 to discuss.
Is there a cancellation fee on monthly retainers?
During the minimum term, early cancellation incurs a fee equal to one month's retainer. After the minimum term, you can cancel with 30 days' written notice and no additional charge. We keep it straightforward because we want clients who stay because the work is useful, not because a contract traps them.
Do you work with businesses outside Glasgow?
Yes. About a third of our current clients are based in Edinburgh, Aberdeen or the north of England. On-site days outside central Scotland carry a flat £150 travel fee. For clients further afield, we replace some on-site days with video sessions and schedule fewer, longer visits instead.
What industries do you specialise in?
Our deepest experience is in professional services (accountancy firms, recruitment agencies, marketing agencies), construction supply chains and independent retail. We have also worked with food and drink producers and a small number of tech start-ups. If your sector is outside this list, get in touch anyway; the operational and financial principles transfer well, and we will be honest if we think another firm is a better fit.
